yes, we are alive .... :)

and doing quite well, just busy!

my quick summary: our trip home was amazing. short and sweet, it should have been much longer. i already miss everyone too much. we had a great visit with adam and sherri while they were here over new years --- although i find it a tad humorous that we made it to three malls in their three day stay! now we're back into the swing of things, awaiting transfer news and gearing up for crazy work schedules (at least on my end). i'll post some pictures of the holidays when i have a chance.

for the time being, i'm going to catch up on rest. or finish the novel i'm reading. mike would call it smut. i call it great character development. then again, that's what i say about gossip girl and i'm not entirely sure it's deserving of that little tag line....

at any rate, we're alive and doing well. i'll post a more substantial update once our christmas decorations have made it to the storage unit ;-)
